Frances Mae Lane, 79, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland Henry and Gracie Lee Bott Furrow; one grandchild; and 14 siblings.

Frances is survived by her loving husband, Walter Lane Jr.; children, Buddy Lane, Sissy Lane, Mike Lane (Denise), Thomas Lane, Gina Womack (Darrell), James Lane, Daniell East (Leon); 6 grandkids; 15 great-grandkids; and 3 brothers.

She loved the Lord and signing for His glory. She was so talented in many ways. She enjoyed making hats and scarves for cancer patients and making Christmas gifts, bridal bouquets, afghans, and all types of decorations. Frances loved to give to everyone as she did till the day she died. She was loved and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will Monday, February 24, 2020, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 11 a.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
