Patricia Marie “Pat” Gunville, 83, passed away peacefully at home on a Thurdsday, due to a lengthy illness.

Patricia was the daughter of Arthur and Jeanette (Derouin) Lantagne. She was the oldest of five children.

She married Gerald Gunville on May 28, 1955, at Holy Family Church in Flat Rock. They would have celebrated 65 years of marriage in May 2020. Patricia worked at several local grocery stores including Red Owl and Super One where you could always catch her with a big smile and a friendly “Hello.” Pat enjoyed many hobbies including painting, ceramics, sewing and was also involved in genealogy. Pat’s biggest joy was being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Early on in her life Pat also liked to compete in talent shows, singing and playing her guitar and later as a guest singer in the Jerry Gunville Orchestra. Pat was a long-time member of the St Joseph and St. Patrick Parish and helped at the church.

Patricia was survived by: her spouse, Gerald Gunville Sr.; three sons, Gerald (Karla) Gunville Jr., James (Sandy) Gunville, Robert (Theresa) Gunville; seven grandchildren, Kristen (Jerry) Eckert, Sean (Jodie) Gunville, Amanda (William) Braun, Lila Gunville, Ashton Gunville, Courtney Gunville, Brittany Gunville and her fiance Michael Topf; six great-grandchildren, Harper and Finley Gunville, Cecilia and Mabel Braun, Averie and Allie Kruger.
