Jeanette was the daughter of Mose and Anna Derouin.
She was united in marriage to her first husband, Arthur Lantagne on Nov. 12, 1935, and to her second husband, Archie Lantagne, on Sept. 17, 1987.
Jeanette was a member of the St. Joseph and St. Patrick Parish in Escanaba. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and playing bridge, cribbage and other card games. She loved music and listening to her family sing and play. She also loved challenging the boys in the family to an arm wrestling match, which she often won.
Jeanette was survived by: two daughters, Patricia (Jerry) Gunville and Priscilla Shaw; 11 grandchildren, Gerald (Karla) Gunville Jr., James (Sandy) Gunville, Robert (Teri) Gunville, Renee (Cliff) Johnson, Phillip (Chris) Rivard, Scott Rivard, Robin (Jeff) Wiley, Melanie (Mike) Graves, Jessica (Lester) Lantagne, Arthur (Holly) Lantagne and Jeanette (Darren) Scheller; 25 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; two stepchildren, Orville (Mary Lou) Lantagne and Sharon (Jack) Chaillier and their families, both; step-daughter-in-law, Joan Lantagne; step-son-in-law, John Servant; and two daughters-in-law, Katy Lantagne and Gerry Lantagne.
Jeanette was preceded in death by: her husbands, parents, two sons, Roger and Rodney; one daughter, Yvonne Rivard; grandson, Charles Arthur Lantagne; great-granddaughter, Summer Savannah Graves; and her siblings, Yvonne Gardner, Aime, Noel, Harvey and Victor Derouin.
Visitation at the Skradski Family Funeral Home with vigil prayers. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph and St. Patrick Parish officiated by Fr. Eric Olson. Laid to rest in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
