Alfred Brunner was born May 2, 1867 in Luzern, Switzerland, died at his home in Lawrence County July 31, 1926, at the age of 59 years and two months.
He came to this country in 1889 and was married to Marie Willie in 1895, to which union were born seven children, two having died in early life. He lived two years at Neosho, Mo. and the rest of the time at his home where he died. Mr. Brunner confessed his faith in Christ in his youth. He belonged to the Mennonites faith.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Ruben Schmazenbach of Lockwood, Mo., Ollie, Frieda and Viola and one son Loren, all at home. One brother, John Brunner of Bowers Mill, Mo. and one brother and two sisters in the old country.
