Mrs. Lena S. Miller, 86, of 300 W. Monroe St. died at 1:20 p.m. yesterday in St. John's Hospital.
She was born Dec. 10, 1871, the daughter of Henry and Anna Schlange. Her father was editor of the German newspaper, Staats Wochenblatt, and an early settler in this area. Mrs. Miller's husband, Robert W., died in 1933.
She is survived by a son, Henry, Springfield.
The body is at the Thomas C. Smith Sons Funeral Home where services will be held tomorrow with the Rev. Martin Sommerfeld officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
