Dorothy Faye Martin Atherton, was born March 14, 1928 in Lawrence County, Bedford, Indiana to her parents, Cecil and Elsie Luella Brim Martin.
She was married to Nathan Lee Atherton on September 12, 1946 in Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Texas who preceded her in death in 1995.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Jim) Atherton; her daughter, Patty (Keith) Greer; two grandchildren; Erin and Andrea; many other family and friends.
Dorothy was a genealogist and thoroughly enjoyed working in her family history. She was a very caring mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
