Barbara B. Beliveau, 76, of Enfield died on Saturday August 4, 2007 at the Hanover Terrace Healthcare Center following a long battle with breast cancer.
She was born in Littleton, NH on April 28, 1931 a daughter of the late Earl and Helen (Kozar) Briggs. Barbara grew up in Bethlehem, NH and attended schools in Portland, ME, later graduating from Mascoma High School. She was married to Russell Beliveau who died in 2001. She retired from Split Ball Bearing where she had been employed for many years as an inspector. Barbara loved to knit, enjoyed gardening, and her cat Straws. She donated many lap blankets she had made to Alice Peck Day Hospital and to the Extended Care Facility.
She is survived by her children Nancy White of Grafton; Linda Morey of Enfield; Carol Dudley of Northfield, NH; Donald Beliveau of Walterboro, SC; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Ann Picariello of Needham, MA; Delores Curran of Avon, CT; Julia Healey of Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter June Nicholson; a brother Earl Briggs, JR.; and a sister Mary McLean.
Friends and family may call at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 6PM. A memorial service will be held in Wednesday at 10:OOAM at the Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Thomas Warner officiating. Burial will follow in the Croydon Four Corners Cemetery.
