Julia E. Healey, 72 OTISFIELD of Smith Brook Road, died unexpectedly Monday evening at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Life:
She was born on March 13, 1937, in Bethlehem, N.H., the daughter of Earle and Helen Briggs.
Julia graduated from Portland High School in 1955.
She was the past owner and operator of Julie's Norgetown Laundry and Dry Cleaning.
For many years she lived on Thomas Pond in Casco before moving to Otisfield. Julie was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing oil painting specializing in landscapes which captured the essence and beauty of Maine. Julie was always ready to go for a motorcycle ride with her husband and friends.

Family:
She was predeceased by her daughter Dawn Bellefontaine;
two sisters, Barbara and Mary, and her brother Earle.
Surviving are her husband Alfred of Otisfield;
her son Todd Bellefontaine and his wife Sheila of Standish;
two sisters, Ann and her husband Louis Picariello of Needham, Mass., Dolores and her husband Timothy L. Curran Jr. of Avon, Conn.;
two grandchildren, Bryan and Breanna Bellefontaine;
her stepson Paul Healey of Wells; and many nieces and nephews.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home, Casco.
