A. Byron Niles, 77, of Peoria died Friday, June 10, 2005, at ManorCare Health Services of Peoria.
Born April 6, 1928, in Peoria to Gifford and Evelyn McClain Niles, he married Barbara Pleasant. He later married Patricia Niles.
Surviving are his mother, Evelyn Harbers of Escondido, Calif.; two daughters, Cynthia Williams of York, Pa., and Teresa Boze of Bloomington; one stepson, David Glover; and one stepdaughter, Laura Glover.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was an engineer at Caterpillar Inc. for more than 30 years, retiring in 1991.
Graveside services will be at Parkview Cemetery.
