She was the wife of Carl L. Hinderer.
Born January 7, 1939 in Canton, OH she was the daughter of the late Walter E. Dorn and the late Alma Staver Dorn.
Carol was a histology technologist at the Chester County Hospital from the 1967 to 1980, and later at the Bryn Mawr Hospital from 1980-2001. She also was a realtor for several years working at the Berkshire Hathaway, Fox Roach Realtors. Carol enjoyed gardening, traveling and playing bridge. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, Carl, she is survived by her children, Wendy Liegeot and her husband David, Sean Powell, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Ridge, and sister, Barbara Lilly.
