Arcadia – A private graveside service will be held for Andrew Kirk Cook, age 55, at 10 am on the 4th of April, 2020, at Hurricane Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Hoffman will officiate.

Kirk was born May 28, 1964 to Rodney and Faye Barlow Cook in Arcadia, Louisiana. He went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2020. Kirk graduated from Bienville Academy and attended La. Tech University. He was employed with Haynes International in Arcadia and retired after 27 years of service. Kirk enjoyed cooking for others, fishing, and was an avid golfer with his friend Mike Barber. Kirk was a very kind patient man, and always enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was a life long member of First Baptist Church of Arcadia, Louisiana.

Kirk is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rachel and Roy Cook, and Marie and EK Barlow.

He is survived by his parents Faye and Rodney Cook, sister Rachel Kyle and Husband Glen, special friend and joy of his life Vicki Neal Streetman, special aunt and uncle Jerry and Katie Caskey, nephews Trent Ellis and Caleb Kyle and wife Maggie, niece Riley Spradlin, and by numerous other loving family and many friends.

Honorary Pallbearers include: Glen Kyle, Trent Ellis, Caleb Kyle, Mike Barber, Chris Caskey, and Carlton Roberts.
