Mrs. Mary Rowland of Route 2, Streator, aged 41, wife of Robert Rowland, died very suddenly in St. Mary's hospital this morning at 3 o'clock. She had been ill only two days.
The former Mary Elizabeth Boyers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennie Boyers, was born May 1, 1900, in Sterling.
Her marriage to Robert Rowland took place in Dixon December 10, 1921, and they became the parents of three children.
The family moved to the vicinity of Streator 17 years ago and had since resided here.
Mrs. Rowland leaves her husband; three children, Mrs. Kenneth Rausch of this city, Robert Jr., and John Rowland, at home; two sisters, Mrs. John Blake, Westbrook, Minn., and Mrs. Margaret Sward, Sterling; and one brother, Paul Boyers of Sterling.
