Mary went home to be with the Lord

But Mary’s Mom and StepDad was Willie and Maggie (Wilkerson) Franke.
Mary loved her mom and stepdad so much, and missed them dearly.

Mary began her fame on Ripley’s Believe It or Not, at the age of three months, as she balanced on her biological father Stubbs hand in San Antonio. Mary attended South Side High School where she played basketball and graduated. She spent her younger years working hard on the farm and helped take care of her brothers and sisters. Mary had a beautiful soul and at a young age was given the nickname, ‘Texas Sunshine’.
Mary spent over fifteen years in Alaska, working at Prudhoe Bay and managing The Pines Club in Anchorage. As a woman of many talents, Mary was in a band called The Arizona Outlaws, which spent twelve years on tour. Music was very important to Mary. She also wrote and composed her own music, such as, ‘My Home’ which was about her life growing up in San Antonio and ‘My Dad’. She enjoyed all the traveling and was able to meet many famous musicians from her music career.

Mary was the heart, rock and foundation of her family. She loved people and always prayed for the goodness in them. Mary was known as Lady Fair Maiden, named by late husband Bill Dibble, because she was full of love and grace and always there for those in need. She cared for her mother and dad up until their passing.

Mary is survived by her children, Daughter Loetta Wangler (Dean), Son Michael Thayne (Karley), Anthony Langston (Jennie), and then Brandie Duran (Eric Yager), and many grandchild and great grandchildren.
Mary’s Brother Bobby Stubbs (Edna), Sister Linda Sittre Dehart, Brother Kenneth Franke, Brother Ben Franke, Sister Betty Barrett (Mark). And many nieces and nephews. Mary’s Uncle Bill Stubbs, she loved him so much. Mary’s Life Companion Rob, and his children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, biological Father, husband, Bill Dibble, and many other Family Members.
