Services for J.B. Tidwell, 57, of Anniston, Rt. 10, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Moore Avenue Baptist Church in Anniston with the Rev. Buck Greenwood, the Rev. Harvey Brown and the Rev. Ralph Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens with Miller Funeral Home in charge. The body will be at his residence until an hour before services.
Mr. Tidwell died Friday at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Era Mae Tidwell of Anniston; four daughters, Mrs. Connie Lewis of Munford, Phyllis Lewis of Anniston, Mrs. Linda Rhodes and Mrs. Beverly Anstein, both of Kansas; a son, Terry Tidwell of Kansas; three sisters, Mrs. Ben Strickland, Mrs, Kate Wright and Mrs. Clara Peace, all of Anniston; a brother, Benny Tidwell of Anniston; and 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Tidwell, Timothy Tidwell, Frankie Tidwell, Fred Stoddard, Jerry Strickland and Ronald Strickland.
Mr. Tidwell was a resident of Calhoun County most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Moore Avenue Baptist Church.
