Services held (Monday) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel in Rockdale. Burial in Salty Cemetery south of Thorndale. Rev. Roland Hodge, pastor of First Baptist Church, Thorndale, officiated.
He was BORN 10/20/1907 in the Hicks Comm. near Rockdale, to the late M/M. Herbert Hollowell. Member of Thorndale Volunteer Fire Dept., his service dating from 4/8/1931. His service pin was given posthumously. He retired from the City of Thorndale Water Dept.
