BRISTOL - Agnes P. (Rukstelis) Bill, 87, of Bristol, widow of Frank H. Bill, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, at Sheriden Woods Health Care. Mrs. Bill was born June 4, 1920, in Woodbury and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Grazulis) Rukstelis. She was raised in Woodbury, then lived in Waterbury, where she worked as a hairdresser. She moved to Bristol, where she served as dean of the National Academy of Hair-dressing, formerly on Main Street, for 25 years before retiring in 1992. After retirement, she lived in Downingtown, Pa., before returning to Bristol in 2002. She loved gardening, horses and dogs, and was a member of the River Valley Christian Center in Farming-ton. Mrs. Bill is survived by three daughters, Patricia Bill of Downingtown, Pa., Debra Bill of Glenmore, Pa. and Cynthia Bill of Bristol; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Bill of Golden, Colo.; a foster son, Gilmer Thibault of Thomaston; a granddaughter, Kateland; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Bill. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at noon at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Burial will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, Thursday between 6 and 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD 57326.
