Charles Masters is the son of Franklin and Rodeisa Owens Masters.

Charles married first Leanner Virginia Morgan 21 June 1874. Charles was a farm laborer, meat cutter and worked on the log dams for the St. Lawrence Boom Lumber Company. They lived along Greenbrier River.

They had the following children:
1.George Franklin Masters m. Betty Elizabeth Erskine (7 kids)
2.Rodelsa Ann Masters d. age 21 consumption
3.Ollie Elizabeth Masters m. Hardin Sizemore (6 kids - Ollie had one child before marriage - He was killed in hunting accident at age 15)
4.Charles Thomas Masters m. Mary Jane Sizemore (7 kids)
Leanner died of cancer.

Charles married second Eliza Susan Morgan.

They had the following children:
1.Laura Alice Masters m. William George Erskine (10 kids)

He was a farm laborer, meat cutter and worked on the log dams for the St. Lawrence Boom Lumber Co. They lived along the Greenbrier River, where his 4 children to his first wife were born: George Franklin, Rodelsa Ann, Ollie Elizabeth, and Charles Thomas Masters.
