My name is Brittany Wykle. I live in Summers County, WV. I have family lines through Summers, Greenbrier, Monroe, and Lincoln counties in West Virginia and Sampson and Cumberland counties in North Carolina.
I'm nineteen years old and I began getting into family history around 2009. Little did I know what I would get into and how much information I would find. I love cemeteries and finding out family history that nobody really knew before.
I began with tracing the Wykle family line which then tied into the Erskine and Morgan sides. I have recently followed the Browning line, the Taylor and Spell lines, and the Harvey and Ellison lines. I also work on a few lines for my friends.
Family names: Wykle (Various spellings), Erskine, Masters, Kessigner, Morgan. // Browning, Meade, Estep. // Taylor, Spell, Blue. // Harvey, Ellison.
I did maintain and add just family memorials but then I started branching out and covering complete cemeteries in Summers County. Also through genealogy, I have made a lot of great connections.
If I have up a picture and you want it removed, let me know and I will gladly remove it. Also, if you have any photo requests in Summers County or surrounding areas, I will do my best to get it.

Brittany I put a clearer tombstone on for Thomas & Rebecca Ball. Also left a note ref their daughter Catherine A.H.(Ann Hazeltine) Ball. I do not have a picture of Catherine (my grt Grandmother) as she spent last 40yrs or so in Ohio as a Wilson. Hoping someone will come up with one.Added by vernon on Apr 30, 2013 2:42 PM | | | vernon

I added a couple to the Ball (2) Leatherwood and started on the Ball burials but found some where already there with "unknown" for burial cemetery info so I sent the info to Walter Pack family to add to their memorials and asked that the two cemetery listings be aka to each other. Did you not see the Wm & Dicey Ball memorials [#89746028 & 89746091] slate markers or where you just doing Lilly? I will make a comment about the unmarked on Ball (2) Leatherwood but not sure of the number as I have these not listed by you (or me) previously. Hi Brittany I am trying to figure how to bring Wm & Dicey Ball who are in the same cemetery over but when I originally did them I was told it was the George Lilly Cemetery. Later I found the Ref to Ball (2) Leatherwood in the Summers Cemetery Book and put Lige Lilly & Wife under that. I cannot find how to change my George Lilly name or merge the two other than say AKA.
I have a lot more Ball names as well as a Charley Epperly (nfi); an Eliz Lilly (nfi); "Burdal(sp?)Lilly -adopted, was Burdal Luther"; (nfi)Susie Watkins (nfi); 2 Turpins (nfi); and "Mrs Winbush (Mrs. Doyles mother)" are all on the plot plan I was given back in 2002.
