She was born in Brown County on July 22, 1898, a daughter of Lester and Bertha Surratt Bowen. She married Leo Behrends in 1914. She then married Charles Dillon in 1939. He died Dec. 25, 1981. She was a member of the Hersman Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one brother, Gennis Bowen of Hersman; three sisters, Mrs. G.T. (Mildred) Hall of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Opal Riley of the state of Washington, and Mrs. Loyd (Isabel) Wilson of Mount Sterling; one granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a son, two grandsons, a brother and three sisters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hufnagel Funeral Home of Mount Sterling, conducted by the Rev. Robert Savot. Burial will be in the Mount Sterling Catholic Cemetery.
