Mrs. King was a certified public accountant who worked for American General Life & Accident Insurance Co. A resident of Lebanon, she passed away from complications from pneumonia, four days after she sought treatment for influenza.
Survivors include her husband, former Wilson County Sheriff Gwin King; her parents, Ed and Jean Cheatham, Smyrna; a sister, Kathy Weiss, Minneapolis; and a grandmother, Florence Cheatham, Hermitage.
