Anna was employed by the Schuyler Prep School in Thomson for many years and had also been employed by Henry's Restaurant in Schuylerville. She enjoyed baking, gardening and especially her family.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Mathew Pensko; sisters, Martha Henry, Sophie Botlock, Agnes Kiss and Mildred Coker; and brothers, Andrew, Peter and Frank Barron.
Survivors include her daughter, Millie Sullivan of Victory Mills; grandchildren, Vincent Sullivan and his wife, Joan, of Rochester, Matthew Sullivan and his wife, Stacey, of Fort Miller, Jeff Sullivan and his wife, Carrie, of Wasilla, Alaska, and Laurie Burton and her husband, Tim, of Fort Edward; great-grandchildren, Eric, Chrissie, Sarah, Andrea, Coulton, Kimberly and Corbet Sullivan and Cory and Kerri Burton; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with the Rev. Christopher Welch officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Schuylerville.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday prior to the service at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
