Born on Sept. 4, 1905 in Poland, she was the daughter of Anthony and Catherine Yope Barron.
Martha was a former resident of Clarks Mills and spent many winters in Bradenton, Fla.
She had been a housekeeper for Doctor Fake in Schuylerville for many years, had operated Henry's Restaurant for nine years in Schuylerville and had been a caregiver for many in the area. She loved to pick blueberries.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame-Visitation Church in Schuylerville.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold Henry; brothers, Frank, Peter and Andrew Barron; and sisters, Agnes Kiss, Mildred Coker and Sophie Botluck.
Survivors include her sister, Anna Pensko of Victory Mills; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2002 at Notre Dame-Visitation Church with the Rev. Christopher Welch, pastor, officiating.
The Rite of Committal will be in the spring at St. Mary's Cemetery in Schuylerville.
Friends may call on Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville.
The family suggests memorials in her name be made to the General Schuyler Emergency Squad, PO Box 111, Schuylerville, NY 12871 or to the Hospice of Saratoga, Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
