Delores Kelly, 69, of Johnstown, Colo., died Jan. 12, 2007, at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, Colo. She was born July 27, 1937, in Canadaigua, N.Y., to Walter and Mary (Liscinsky) Dibb.
Delores married Robert W. Kelly on June 3, 1966, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had lived in Vacaville for 19 years, Broomfield for six and a half years, Thornton for three years and in Johnstown for the last three years. She graduated from Jordan High School in Murray, Utah, and was a homemaker. Delores served on a mission in Toronto, Canada, for the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS. She also served in leadership positions serving women and children.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Kelly of Johnstown; sons, Robert Brian Kelly and wife, Patty of Dixon, and Matthew David Kelly of Johnstown, Colo.; daughter, Laura Kelly Babcock and husband, John of Parker, Colo.; brothers, David W. Dibb of Norcross, Ga., Dale T. Dibb of Alpine, Utah; Douglas J. Dibb of Lehi, Utah, Durrell K. Dibb of Midvale, Utah; sisters, Diane Forbis of Orem, Utah, Della M. Plewe of Mission Viejo, Donna L. Gunnell of Draper, Utah, and Dorothy M. Walter of Salt Lake City, Utah; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Charlotte Kelly.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Johnstown LDS Chapel. Interment will be at Arvada Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the General Missionary Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS or A Woman's Place in care of Allnutt, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631.
