She was born in Bryant, IN, on November 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Irvin and Lillie (Heistand) Campbell.
On December 4, 1955, she married William R. Gardner, he preceded her in death on August 10, 2018, after 63 years of loving companionship.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She took pride in her family. She enjoyed gardening, which included a variety of plants and flowers in her back garden. On the weekends, she loved looking at and collecting antiques. She treasured her 1830's home that she restored in Napoleon, Indiana. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Berne, IN.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Denise (Fred) Kunkel of Decatur; 3 grandchildren, Fred (Becci) Kunkel of Decatur, Margaret (Adam) Holley of Seattle, WA, and Hannah (fiancé Liam) Kunkel of Decatur.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. George's Episcopal Church in Berne, Father Larry Smith officiating and burial will immediately follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, in Bryant, IN.
