Mary Ruth was born June 4, 1941in the Bunker Hill, Missouri area. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Founty Missouri (Knox) Abercrombie. She entered into rest on March 18, 2020 at McDonald County Living Center, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Mary Ruth was a lifelong resident of Bunker Hill and Anderson, Missouri.
She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a avid quilter, expert seamstress and dedicated 4-H alumni. She was a member of Anderson First Baptist Church. Mary Ruth and Fred Schneider were married on November 12, 1966 in Anderson, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Alice Wright.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Schneider of the home, daughter, Jan Schneider of Joplin, Missouri along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020, at Tracy Cemetery in Anderson, Missouri. Galeon Smith will officiate.
