Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Orilla Adams, 38, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prichard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem cemetery.
Mrs. Adams died unexpectedly 5:15 a.m. Sunday at her home, 347 East Kansas, after a short illness.
She was born June 7, 1914, in Ray county, the daughter of Jess Daniel and Anna Elizabeth O'Dell Crouse.
On November 27, 1929, she was married to Jewell Thomas Adams at Richmond. Mrs. Adams was a resident of this city 10 years.
Surviving are her husband, Jewell Adams of the home; four sons, Jewell Adams, in the service at Fort Riley, Kans., Charles, Earl Ray and Jesse Wayne Adams, all of the home.
Three daughter, Myrtle Catherine, Ethel Juanita and Carol Ann Adams, all of the home; five brother, Claude J., Joseph T., Perry G. and Andrew J. Crose, Excelsior Springs area; a sister, Mrs. Cerena Clevenger; her father Jess Crouse, this city; six nieces and six nephews.
