Funeral services for Jack “Allen” McKnight, Jr., 67 of Greenville, MS will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14,, 2020 in Memphis, TN. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens in Clarksdale. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors include daughter, Mimmie McKnight Fisher (Brian) and their children Mary Elizabeth, Hasten and Graham Fisher as well as his siblings Richard McKnight, Sue Carol Mauney, Dewey McKnight (Jeanine), Nancy Blaylock and Nina Giger (Phil).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth McKnight and his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jack Allen McKnight, Sr. of Clarksdale.

Allen graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Agriculture. Initially after college, Allen worked for several agricultural businesses before setting out on his own. Allen owned and operated his business Delta Agricultural Consulting prior to retiring in the Fall of 2019. He was well known in the Ag world for his knowledge and expertise in the field and dedication to the farmers he worked with. Allen was an avid hunter a and enjoyed teaching others to find the joy in hunting over the years including long time friend and business partner Andy Tonos . We will miss his stories and knowing all the details that may have occurred and most of all his smile and willingness to always help others.
