Mr. Jimmy Lee Coleman, Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Jimmy Lee Coleman, Sr., 68, who entered eternal rest, March 11, 2020 in Opelousas, LA.
Interment will be in Greater Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Brian Keith Alfred, Pastor and Rev. Patrick Lavergne will officiate the service.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susan Green Coleman of Opelousas, LA; a son, Jimmy Lee Coleman, Jr. (Anitra) of Opelousas, LA; a daughter, Denetra Yvette Coleman of Opelousas, LA; four brothers, Johnny Coleman (Ruth) of Lake Charles, LA, Willie Coleman, Jr. (Lisa) of Opelousas, LA, Daniel Coleman, Sr. of Lafayette, LA and John Coleman (Flora) of Opelousas, LA; six sisters, Clara Coleman of Opelousas, LA, Genny Coleman of Washington, LA, Merline Times (Bernell) of New Orleans, LA, Shirley Robinson (Willery) of Washington, LA, Anna Ware (Bobby) of Opelousas, LA and Theresa Hunt (Herman) of Lawtell, LA. He also leaves to mourn, two sisters, Dora Jones of Chicago, IL and Ora Dell Comeaux of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Robert Williams of Houston, TX and Joseph Coleman of Lawtell, LA; four uncles, four aunts, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents, Willie & Celestine Coleman, Sr.
