SUCCUMBS AT WHITEHOUSE LADY PASSES AT 100 YEARS OF AGE
Mrs. Emily Childers of White House passed away at her home on Monday, March 26. She was the widow of Jack Childers who preceded her in death five years ago. She was born on Jennies Creek about one hundred years ago, the daughter of Matthew and Tempa Fitzpatrick Caudill. Her exact age was not known. She leaves two sons by a former marriage; Alvis Blevins, Huntington, West Va., and Mack Blevins, Montgomery, West Va., also a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at her home on Thursday by Rev. Bill Morgan of Tomahawk, and interment was made in a nearby cemetery.
