Timothy Schwartz
Timothy A. Schwartz, 29, Topeka, was found dead at Osage County State Lake Monday, March 27, 2000.
Mr. Schwartz was a licensed pilot. He served as the test pilot and flight instructor for ultra-light airplanes he built near Dover. He also was involved in buying and selling abandoned missile silos throughout the United States.
He was born Dec. 16, 1970, in Topeka, the son of Thomas A. and Helen Behne Schwartz. He attended Most Pure Heart of Mary elementary school, Topeka West High School and the University of Kansas.
Survivors include his parents, Tom and Helen Schwartz, Topeka; a sister, Kathy Broxterman, Topeka; and a brother, Tom E. Schwartz, Prescott, Ariz.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial in West Lawn Memorial Gardens will be private. Mr. Schwartz will lie in state after 9a.m. Thursday at the funeral home where relatives and friends will meet from 2 p.m. to service time.
