Preceded in death by her husband, Carroll W. May, and her daughter, Shirley Schiavone, she is survived by two daughters, Jean Rooks of Rocky Ford, Colo., and Ruby Amato of Manassas; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A native of Manassas, she was a charter member of the First Assembly of God church in Triangle and was an avid fisher.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, Triangle, with the Rev. Clifford Burroughs officiating. Arrangements by Mountcastle Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
