Interment will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5PM - 8PM at Cox Funeral Home.
He is preceded in death by his son, Prentice LaForge; parents, Lewis "Bud" LaForge and Ruth Hill LaForge; three brothers, Johnny LaForge, Pee Wee LaForge, Paul LaForge; two sisters, Fern LaForge and Charlotte LaForge.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Shirley LaForge of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Chasity Patin and Fred Patin of Baytown, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Ray LaForge and Donna LaForge of West Monroe, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Robin LaForge and Terri LaForge of Monroe, Louisiana; son, Glen LaForge; daughter, Donna Johnson of Baytown, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Diane Shelton and John Shelton of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy Hooper and Benji Hooper of Baytown, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Rios and Kelly Rios of Bowie, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy LaForge of Jefferson, Texas and Rodney LaForge of Bastrop, Louisiana; four sisters, Annette Ellison of Mena, Arkansas, Virginia LaForge of Arkansas, Willie Nell Brown and husband Jerry of Columbia, Louisiana, Gussie LaForge of Shreveport, Louisiana.
