Martha Marie Morgan, 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2020, in Arvada, Colorado. Services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Aspen Mortuary in Arvada, Colorado. Interment will be at Arvada Cemetery following the service.
Martha was born on September 29, 1930, to John and Kathrine Bohl (Frick) in Montrose, Colorado. She grew up and went to school in Montrose. Martha then married her husband, Francis Morgan, on August 20, 1950, and was married for 38 years.
She enjoyed spending time with family and loved being a grandma and GG (great-grandma). Martha loved to garden and always kept a beautiful yard with numerous types of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. She loved watching football and cheering for her Denver Broncos. Martha was a longtime member of Shepherd Of The Hills Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, Colorado. There, she met many wonderful friends and went on trips with the XYZ group.
Martha is survived by her daughter Cathy and husband Mike Unger of Arvada, Colorado; grandchildren Laurie (Troy) Bridges and Krista Unger; and great-grandchildren Nate and Olivia. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruby, brother Elmer, and husband Francis.
