Lola Mae Miller, age 92 of Rising Sun, passed away at Shady Nook Care Center on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Lola was born in Oakland, Kentucky on April 30, 1927 to Walter and Lottie (nee Magers) Tinsley. Lola was married to Rodie Franklin Miller, who preceded her death in 1977.
Lola is survived by her children, Joyce Mae (Alfred) Woodruff, Shirley Kirby, David (Darlene) Miller, Everett Miller, Carl Miller and Gary Miller; her sister, Sarah Tinsley and Joyce Marie Hill; her step-children, Joyce Kathleen and Leroy; her grandchildren, Lisa, Al, Tracy, Brian, Mark, Rodney, Anthony, Ryan, Devan, Gina, David, Kenny, Christina, Tonya, Frankie, Michael, Eddie, Kristy, Jessica, Brandon, Chandal, Gary, Cheyanne, Lola, Tyler, Kristy, Shelly and Ricky; her 61 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren. Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Rodie Franklin Miller; her children, Kenny Miller and Kerri Self; her siblings, Olen Tinsley and Drotha Huffine; her step-children, Jean, Harry and Bertha.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
