Peoria, IL - Brian A. Parks, 38, of Peoria died at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, in Crest Hill, Ill.
Brian was born Feb. 3, 1969, in Peoria, Ill., to Michael A. and Diane (Arends) Parks. He married Elizabeth Dircks on Sept. 16, 2005, in Pekin, Ill. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Diane (Mark) Gossick of Peoria; his father, Michael A. Parks of Canton; his stepson, Josh Zapata of South Pekin; two sisters, Shawna Hopkins of Peoria and Jenny Gossick of Peoria; and a brother, Dennis Kohtz of Peoria; his maternal grandfather, Leo Arends of Metamora; and several nieces and nephews.
His maternal grandmother and his paternal grandparents preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Linn-Mount Vernon Cemetery, Washburn.
