Charlotte Ertmoed, 90, Hartford, died Sunday (17-DEC-1989) in Covington Heights Care Center (Sioux Falls, SD).
Charlotte Bleeker was born Jan. 28, 1899, on a farm northeast of Davis, and grew up 10 miles north of Lennox.
She married George Ertmoed Dec. 10, 1923, in Rock Rapids, Iowa. They farmed southeast of Lennox and then near Wall Lake. They retired into Hartford in 1946.
Her husband died June 28, 1970. She became a resident of Covington Heights Care Center in 1982. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hartford.
Survivors include one brother, Harm, rural Sioux Falls; and nieces and nephews.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church, Hartford, with burial in Germantown Cemetery, rural Chancellor.
