Dr Howard Pascal Brisbane was born in Batavia, New York to Dr Charles Fourier Brisbane and Nina Durand. He attended George Washington Medical School. He attended medical courses of the University of Georgetown. He obtained a license to practice medicine in Vicksburg, MS in March 1884. He was married in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Margaret Hunt. They moved to New Orleans where he practiced for many years. He also worked in Bluefields, Nicaragua for Islalnd Oil and Transport in 1918 as a physician in the camps. He took his wife and son Sherrard with him. He died of a heart attack after delivering a baby in Clarks, Louisiana. He is buried at Cypress Grove Cemetery with his wife in the Family Tomb of Ralph Hubbard.
