Miller Baugher, 80, Eastside Highway, Elkton, died Thursday at Winchester Medical Center, where he had been admitted after suffering a heart attack.
Mr. Baugher was born July 12, 1920, at Swift Run near Elkton, and was the son of the late Lloyd L. Baugher and Rebecca Powell Baugher.
He was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church at Elkton and t he Blue Ridge Council #149 Jr. O.U.A.M.
He was an engineer with Norfolk and Western Railway until retiring in 1980 .
On July 3, 1940, he married Lillian H. Baugher, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Wanda B. Beck, Lexington, N.C. and Brenda B. Kite, Elkton; two sisters, Lottie B. Lawson and Helen b. Davis, both of Elkton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Alda V. Gunn will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Elkton.
The family will receive friends at the Baugher home at any time or at Kyger & Trobaugh Funeral Home in Elkton.
