Catherine Pearl Payne, 82, of Kelso, Tenn., died Tuesday.The Elk Valley Times, Fayetteville, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Pearl Payne, age 82, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in the Sunbridge Care & Rehab Center will be conducted Saturday August 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Ms. Payne was a native of Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Charlie & Nannie Pearl Martin Gray; she was a waitress in the Fayetteville area for several years. She is survived by two daughters, Doris & husband Jerry Holder of Kelso, TN, Teresa & husband Mike Franklin of Readyville, TN; one step-daughter, Lorinda & husband Richard Scott of West Virginia; four step-sons, Johnny & wife Melody Thompson of Fayetteville, TN, Marshall & wife Karen Thompson of Florida, Grady & wife Lisa Thompson of Ardmore, AL, & Darrell Thompson of California; a companion, John Thompson of Fayetteville, TN; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren & two step-great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening August 3, 2007 from 5 until 8 p.m.
