Catherine Pearl Payne, 82, of Kelso, Tenn., died Tuesday.∼The Elk Valley Times, Fayetteville, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Pearl Payne, age 82, of Fayetteville, TN, who passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007 in the Sunbridge Care & Rehab Center will be conducted Saturday August 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Ms. Payne was a native of Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Charlie & Nannie Pearl Martin Gray; she was a waitress in the Fayetteville area for several years. She is survived by two daughters, Doris & husband Jerry Holder of Kelso, TN, Teresa & husband Mike Franklin of Readyville, TN; one step-daughter, Lorinda & husband Richard Scott of West Virginia; four step-sons, Johnny & wife Melody Thompson of Fayetteville, TN, Marshall & wife Karen Thompson of Florida, Grady & wife Lisa Thompson of Ardmore, AL, & Darrell Thompson of California; a companion, John Thompson of Fayetteville, TN; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren & two step-great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening August 3, 2007 from 5 until 8 p.m.
