Chris was the beloved husband of Nancy for 65 1/2 years. He was the loving father of Chris D. (Christine) and Deborah S. (Danny) McNeilance, He cherished his granddaughters, Stephanie (Nick), Rebecca (Cody) and Christina. He adored his great-grandchildren, Ella, Hudson, Peyton and Caleb. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many extended family friends who were fans of dear "Mr. Higgins".
Please join the family for a time of visitation Wednesday, 3-8 p.m. at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, 19091 Northville Rd. (at 7 Mile Rd.). The funeral service to honor and celebrate Chris' life will be Thursday, 11 a.m. followed by Military Honors. We are grateful for his years of service in the US Army.
Chris will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock.
