Joshua was the youngest of 3 children born to Ezequiel "Kelly" and Marie Gutierrez. The family moved from San Jose back to their hometown of Visalia, California when he was still a toddler. Growing up Joshua was involved in numerous sports and activities, such as travel baseball, football, karate, bowling, as well as catechism classes. He exceeded expectations with pure passion and love with any activity that interested him.
Above all else, Joshua was a loving father to his two children, who he considered true blessings in his life and wanted nothing more than to see them grow.
Joshua is preceded in death by his loving Grandmothers, Mary Gutierrez and Carmen Velasquez; his Grandfather, Frank Gutierrez, Sr.; and his Godfather, Frank Gutierrez, Jr.
Joshua will be dearly missed everyday by his two children: daughter, Ayvah Kali Gutierrez and son, Joshua Ezra Gutierrez; brother, Zeke Gutierrez; sister, Rhianna Gutierrez; nieces, Vanessa Gutierrez, Aly Gutierrez, Evie Gutierrez; and his parents, Ezequiel "Kelly" & Marie Gutierrez.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 608 N. Church St., Visalia, CA on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery District 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, California.
