Melvin Alvin Perkins, age 81, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020.
He was born in St. Charles, Missouri on March 12, 1938 to Cedrick and Edith Perkins (nee Mathis).
Melvin enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and most of all spending time with his family.
He was a member of the UAW, and the Kingshighway 1st Baptist Church in St. Charles, MO.

Melvin is survived by his Wife, Patsy Ann Perkins, Brother, Ralph Perkins, Sons, Melvin Alvin Perkins, II, Kelvin Wade Perkins, Kurt Allen Perkins, Karl Douglas (Sandra) Perkins, Dell (Karen) Fields Grandsons, Jesse Lee Perkins, Tyler Douglas Perkins, Nicholas Christopher Perkins, Wesley J. Perkins, Joseph David Perkins, Granddaughters, Melinda Timmermeier, Kelcee Perkins, Amy Moldes, Katie Fields, Great-Grand Children and Great-Great- Grandchildren. He will also be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Cedrick Carl Perkins, Sr.; Mother, Edith May Perkins; Two Brothers, Cedrick Carl Perkins, Jr., and John Orvel Perkins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 29 at 2 pm in Thayer Cemetery, Thayer Missouri with Pastor James Martin officiating.
