Mr. Silmon was born on June 20th, 1929 in Jacksonville, Texas to Thurlo and Goldie (Stewart) Silmon. He married Juanita Simmons on June 21, 1947 in Jacksonville, Texas.
She preceded him in death on December 11, 2004.
He was an employee for E.L. Key Grain for over 40 years.
He loved his Grandchildren, fishing, playing dominoes and working on lawn equipment.
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
