Jennie Barber Ernstsen "Returned to Her Heavenly Angels" All the tears shed cannot possibly fill the void left when our wonderful Jennie returned to her Father in Heaven July 3, 2007. We will all greatly miss the presence of this beautiful angel here on earth. Jennie was born March 1, 1922 in Centerville, Utah to William Henry and Laura Rebecca Walton Larson Barber. She attended school, worked in the fields of Centerville and graduated from Davis High School with the class of 1940. She then attended and graduated from the LDS Business College and worked as secretary for the Rail Road Retirement Board, the Veterans Administration, SMA, Sears, Intermountain Theaters and Hotel Utah. She married Grover Ernstsen October 18, 1957 and they made Kearns their home. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church holding callings in Relief Society, Primary, Young Women's and helping with various church projects. Her favorite project was her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all adored her and will miss her greatly. She is survived by her husband, Grover; stepson, Michael G. Ernstsen, Littleton, CO; daughters: Peri An Wilson, Grants Pass, OR; Marne' Newton, Chandler, AZ; seven grandchildren; five great-grand-children; brother, Lawrence (Dorothy) Barber, Centerville. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings. The family would like to express a special appreciation to the Rocky Mountain Care facility for all of their kindnesses. In accordance with Jennie's wishes, graveside services will be held Sat. July 7, 2007, 10 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Walk slowly down the long, lone path for soon I'll follow you.
