"PETE"'S OBITUARY
Kenneth Michael “Pete” Davidson, age 55 of North Elm Street, Moorefield, WV, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 10, 1964, in Petersburg, WV, he was a son of Barbara Ann (May) Davidson of Moorefield, WV and the late Kenneth Mervin Davidson and a step-son of the late William L. Koontz. A sister, Elaine Davidson also preceded him in death.
Pete had worked for 12 years as a Team Leader in Receiving at the Apple Valley Rubbermaid facility and worked as a Supervisor at Hester Industries for over 20 years. He enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially WVU and the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite pastime and sport was definitely golf, of which he enjoyed at Valley View.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Eddie Mongold of Moorefield, WV; two brothers, Jeff Davidson and William “Buck” Koontz of Moorefield, WV; two sisters, Tammy Davy and Michele Koontz of Moorefield, WV; a grandson, Aeryn Judy-Mongold; his special friend, Joyce Crites a step-son, Shawn Rodgers of Stephens City, VA; a step-daughter, Angela Puffinberger of Moorefield, WV and five step-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastors Jack Bosley and Scottie Riggleman officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM (noon) until the time of services at 2:00 PM.
