November 14, 1937 - March 2, 2020 (age 82)
Charles Everett Grossnickle, Uncle Charlie, Uncle Chuck, passed away at the age of 82, on March 2, 2020. He lived in Tooele, Utah with his great niece, Sharon Anne Verikas.
Charlie died at home suddenly of a heart attack. He was born November 14, 1937 in Mackay, Idaho at home, to Alice Wilding and Angus Grossnickle.
He is survived by his children; Johnny Ray, Tracy, and Billie Anne Grossnickle, his great niece Sharon Anne Verikas, and many other nieces and nephews.
He served in the Army, had his own refrigeration business, and worked as a butcher for 16 years. He loved his woodwork, fixing things, and watching his children and run and play.
He loved our Heavenly Father, our Savior Jesus Christ, and he strongly believed in the power of the Priesthood, and the role the Holy Ghost plays in our earthly lives. He loved serving Heavenly Father by being the "Servant of the Servant". Nothing was too much of a request, he gave anything he had to anyone who asked.
No one outside of his immediate family really knew how faithful, honorable, and honest a Latter-day Saint he was. He loved all and prayed for those who treated him badly. He never complained and always listened. No one really knew the wonderful, intelligent, kind, faithful man he was.
He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in the Tooele City Cemetery on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM. www.tatemortuary.com
