Ron is survived by his wife, Denise Parks, of Cedar Falls; his three sons, Ben Parks of Hyattsville, Maryland, Tom (Theresa) Parks of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Josh Parks of Chicago, Illinois; his two grandchildren, Asher and Quinn Parks; a brother, Randy (Debby) Parks, of Albert Lea, Minnesota; two sisters, Robby (George) Corum of Tama, Iowa and Rocky Sprouse of Forest City, Iowa, and his sister-in-law, Earlene (John) Morgan, of Sun Lakes, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, with burial at a later date. Visitation will be 4—6:30 p.m. Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Falls, and one hour before the service Saturday at the church.
