Carol Ellen Finner of Dimondale,
Passed away August 19, 2017 at the age of 59. Carol was born in Saginaw, March 12, 1958, the daughter of Kenneth and Jean (Osgerby) Buchinger. She worked for ProAssurance in Okemos for the last 10 years, was a member of the YaYa’s, and attended Riverview Church in Holt. Carol enjoyed singing, traveling, gambling, playing cards, and connecting with her extended family and friends on the phone, on Facebook and through Words with Friends.
She loved and was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her husband, Larry Finner; daughter, Jennifer Ellen (Eric) Gibbs of Lansing; son, Joshua Michael Finner of Eaton Rapids; grandchildren, Parker Ellen, Carter Eric, Caiden Michael and Morgan Jean Gibbs, Kira Marie Finner; cousin and best friend, Bonnie (Dan Pouget) Bondy of Canada; brother, Thomas Buchinger of Atlanta, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Buchinger; sister, Lori Zimmer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Church or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids.
