Mildred Scott Ragsdale, 86, former employee of Richland Inn and Durango Boots, died Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Mike Redding officiating. Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery in Hickman County. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4– 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born September 7, 1933 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Carley Scott and the late Lillie B. Slaughter Scott. On September 24, 1949, she married Marshall Ragsdale who preceded her in death November 30, 1999. Mrs. Ragsdale was a member of Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley (Charles) Nash of Primm Springs; Patricia Cagle of Columbia; Connie Sue Geasley of Columbia; Lisa Boshers of Columbia; Cheryl (Mark) Hardy of Columbia; son, Larry Wayne (Kaye) Ragsdale of Culleoka; twelve grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Durll Marshall Geasley; sons-in-law, Wayne Geasley, Steve Boshers, Jeff Carroll; and four siblings.
