Mrs. Anna M. (Betz) Totman age 75, passed away at the Gaylord Community Hospital at 9:20 PM, Sunday August 3, 1958. She had suffered a stroke on Saturday and was taken to the hospital that evening.
Funeral Services were held Thursday August 7, 1958, at the Hinterberg and Westby Chapel and from the Methodist Church with the Rev. George E. Hamilton conducting the rites. Pall Bearers are Herbert Hed, Arvid Larson, Ray Saxton, Ernest Isenberg, Hugo Thorson and Leonard Boelke.
Anna M. (Betz) Totman was born April, 27, 1883 in Illinois. She was married October 5, 1903. (Note: They were married on Archie's birthday) to Archie Totman of Truesdale, Iowa and resided on farms near Storm Lake, IA until 1925. They lived in Blue Earth, MN area one year and have resided near Winthrop, MN since 1927. Mr Totman passed away in 1951.
At the time of her passing She was survived by seven of children. A daughter Iva passed away several years ago. Other surviving relatives were 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, two sisters - Lilly (Betz) Dierwechter of Long Beach Ca and Netty (Betz) Witter of Rossie, IA and one brother - Roy Betz of Aurelia, IA.
